Hezar Masjed or Hezar Masjed mountain range forms the heights of northern Khorasan, which naturally separates the flat plain of Mashhad from the cold and dry desert of Qaraghom in Turkmenistan. The highest point of this mountain range is the peak of Hezar Masjed with a height of about 3.140 meters in the northwest of Mashhad and the access to it is from the two routes of its southern front (machine road) and the northern front of Lain No village. This mountain range extends from the northwest to the southeast. It is located in the green northern slopes of this mountain range, Kalat Naderi region, in the northern foothills of Qarahqom plain of Turkmenistan, in the northwest of Dargaz city and in the south of this mountain is Mashhad plain.
