On the northeastern slopes of Alborz and between Gorgan and Shahroud, you can see one of the most beautiful forest roads in Iran. Approximately 13 kilometers after Gorgan, a road branches off to the south, which is named Tuskastan or Toskastan because of the first village on this 30-kilometer road. This forest road passes several summer villages and the forest of Tuskistan and presents a dreamy landscape in front of you; Especially when autumn colors all kinds of trees from alder to gorse, oak and yew on both sides of the road. This beautiful forest, which is considered one of the sights of Golestan province, is adjacent to the world-view forests and is considered a part of Hyrkani Park.
